Using Micronization to Reduce API Particle Size
Micronization is the process through which the already existing particles are reduced to a rather minute size. This in some cases goes from micro meter or even nano meter. - Jet milling
This is one process that does not necessarily require any mechanical components. - Bead milling
As Micronization is a process that is taken up mostly in the pharmaceutical companies, the rate at which bead mining is used. This process is usually taken into consideration when there is a need to reduce the particle size into nano-meter scales, and this takes place when the equipment is basically differentiated from the grinding media product. Things that are considered for this process to take place are bead density, the size of the beads, stirrer-shaft space, the rate of flow, and so on.
