Micronization is the process through which the already existing particles are reduced to a rather minute size. This is, in some cases, go from the micro meter or even nano meter. Due to an increase in the surface area of a particle, usually, there is dissolution, and the rate at which this happens can keep increasing because of the deteriorating rate of APIs. Micronization is a process that can be helpful in the processing of a lot more drugs that exist in a solid, liquid, or gas state. Especially in the field of fluid energy, this process is helpful in more than one way. The following is used in different ways and forms, some of which can be explained in the following non-mechanical ways:

API Particle Size

This is one process that does not necessarily require any mechanical components. Instead of these components, it manages to create a very high velocity for particles that creates a major energy difference in particles. As this gas further enters into the jet-mill chamber, there is a difference in these particles’ solid and gas states. Other things can be compared to a process like this: FPS Food, Pharma Systems, and so on. However, they do not produce too much, the size of the equipment is simply too large, and the requirements for this process to take place is if there is very high gas pressure and is often mistaken as ‘black box.’

  • Jetmillingthat comes under containment.

The process of Micronization is still being taken into consideration in isolation only because of the existence of very potent carbons as for very potent drugs, these are can only do in isolation. The conditions they work under usually involve an isolator that is very powerful in their process, namely RABS (restricted access barrier system).

  • Bead milling

As Micronization is a process that is taken up mostly in the pharmaceutical companies, the rate at which bead mining is used. This process is usually considered when there is a need to reduce the particle size into nano-meter scales, which occurs when the equipment is basically differentiated from the grinding media product. Things that are considered for this process to take place are bead density, the size of the beads, stirrer-shaft space, flow rate, and so on. These will make the formulation and the process easier for the generation of a good amount of force. However, the risk of exposing this to any kind of contamination is something that one should be looking out for.

Pharmaceuticals are investing heavily in this technology and are making it easier for the structure of these drugs to change for convenience of consumption. Another company that has offered more without compromising on the quality of these is Orenda Pulverizers. A company that has been in the industry for 20 years, their services include sharpening, automations, upgrades, etc.
